You make a valid point.
I have recently purchased a Yamaha GT 125
At 2500 kms. Both wheels had buckled and would need replacement.
Not covered under warranty
Cost 5400 Baht for the pair
Yamaha Bangkok contacted, no reply
Fuel gauge out by 1.7 litres
Brakes are very spongy
Not that impressed with this Indonesian made Yamaha!!!

Im in the motor industry & this is nothing to do with reduced quality. Its the fact that the penalties are massive for not declaring any safety critical problems. Years ago, it would be kept quiet, or fixed as the vehicle was serviced.

Wheels buckling and fuel gauge out by 1.7 litres is not about reduced quality???
Obviously, you are an idiot in the motor industry!
