The New Triumph Tiger Sport

Continuing on the Triumph theme, the company has refreshed and updated its middle-sized adventure bike, the new Tiger Sport adopting the latest version of its 1050cc triple-cylinder engine, as used in the forthcoming 2016 Triumph Speed Triple.

This means more torque and better fuel economy, thanks to its new ride-by-wire throttle, revised combustion chambers, a freer flowing exhaust and new control electronics. It also features three riding modes (Rain, Road and Sport), multi-level traction control, ABS, a lighter acting (slipper-assist) clutch mechanism, and cruise control.
Along with a richer sounding exhaust note, there are 'grippier' footpegs, more comprehensive instruments, standard handguards, an easily adjustable tinted screen and new mirrors and colors.

The new Triumph Tiger arrives also later this year and prices will be announced around the same time.Tag: Triumph Tiger Sport 1050cc Triple-Cylinder Adventure-Bike ABS Cruise-Control Slipper-Clutch
