The Honda CBR650F is way superior to most 650cc motorcycles on sale. It's got the looks, fit and finish is commendable it brings a good level of equipment to the table, is comfortable over long rides and, most importantly, the combination of the potent chassis and the superb engine is unparalleled.
In fact the liquid-cooled, 16-valve DOHC, 648cc engine with PGM-FI electronic fuel injection is one of the smoothest in-line fours we've tested. The engine produces 85.3 horsepower at 11,000rpm and 62.9Nm torque at 8,000rpm, is teamed with a smooth 6-speed manual gearbox. It sounds good, delivers power seamlessly, and doesn't ever feel strained.
On fuel economics the Honda CBR650F does about 17 kilometer on a liter fuel, of course this is not exact science as everybody has a different riding style so only use this as an indication.
So, as a sport-tourer, the Honda CBR650F has the legs to go long distances without taxing the rider, there's good, usable power for Thai and surrounding countries road conditions, the ride quality is brilliant and it handles like a dream.
