K&N Filters as Replacement Air-Filters and Oil-Filters

Keeping your filters clean is a quick and cheap way to ensure the longevity and performance of your engine. And upgrading to filters from K&N will reap you a little bit more than the stock units can deliver.

That's because K&N air cleaner elements allow for better airflow than most other elements, which usually increases an engine's power output by one horsepower at the top end. As for the oil filter element, K&N units have a greater surface area than the stock oil filters, so more oil is filtered on every pass. No wonder K&N filters are known throughout the automotive and motorcycle industry as leaders in the performance filter market.
K&N air filters are washable and reusable over and over and come with 10-year warranty. The K&N cotton fabric filter media holds filter oil. It's the oil that helps attract and suspend the airborne dirt particles. When the filter gets clogged with dirt just wash it out, let it air-dry, and re-coat with K&N air filter oil.

Your air filter is fresh and ready to protect your engine again. Long term, this means no more trips to the parts store for you and fewer disposable filters littering our landfills.

The K&N oil filter is not reusable, but it does have its own performance advantages over the stock oil filter. It features thick-wall construction and a strong inner core. A modern synthetic-blend filter media catches more dirt and exceeds OEM specs. It has a 17mm nut welded to the end for installation (of course depends on your motorcycle) and removal using common hand tools. That same nut comes pre-drilled for safety wire and the filter canister is optionally available for some motorcycles.
