Moto2 - Crash for Warokorn at BRNO

Motorcycle RacingThitipong Warokorn endured a painful first day in the Czech Republic today thanks to a crash in the first free practice session this morning that left him with a strained thigh muscle. The Thai rider battled bravely to try and complete as many laps as he could in the afternoon and build his knowledge of the circuit layout but he certainly wasn't in the ideal physical condition to ride.

Thitipong Warokorn

(32nd 2’ 07” 043)
“We could have done without the crash but it is all part and parcel of racing and I have to take it on the chin, even though it made for a painful afternoon. I was struggling on the bike but I tried my best to gather as much information as I could about the track and I am sure it will prove useful tomorrow.”

Fausto Gresini “Crashing forms part of racing and Thitipong just has to learn from the experience. Obviously the thigh problem meant that he couldn't ride to his maximum this afternoon but I am sure he will be fitter tomorrow and ready to follow the instructions and advice of the team.”
