Honda Repsol CBR250RThe Honda/Repsol connection began in 1995, with Mick Doohan, Alex Criville and Shinichi Itoh riding Honda's NSR500 with the new instantly recognizable blue, orange and red livery of the Spanish petroleum company. Doohan became inextricably linked with Repsol throughout his time in 500cc racing, before the torch was passed to Criville, Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden, Dani Pedrosa and finally Casey Stoner, who delivered Repsol Honda's most recent premier class World Championship in 2011.
Honda Mugen CBR250RMugen, a Japanese company, was formed in 1973 by Masao Kimura and Hirotoshi Honda, the son of Honda Motor Company founder Soichiro Honda. Meaning 'Without Limit' or 'Unlimited', Mugen has become synonymous with engine tuning, but the distinctive Katakana script logo is more commonly seen on Honda Cars than motorcycles. Beginning with the 1200cc Honda Civic engine, Mugen Power went on to develop, and now design and build, both two-stroke and four-stroke engines, manufacturing many components in-house.
Honda Moriwaki CBR250RMoriwaki, also founded in 1973, began with sales of exhaust systems for street motorcycles. It has now expanded to include sales of competition parts, motorcycle tuning and frame production. As well as production of racing machines, Moriwaki has discovered a string of talented riders, including Wayne Gardner, who rode a Moriwaki-backed machine in the 1983 Suzuka 8 hours Endurance race. Moriwaki continues to play an active role in racing to this day.
It its signature blue and yellow colors, the Honda Moriwaki CBR250R Special Edition will likely soon be available from Honda dealerships nation wide.
